Meet the Dental Team Cedar Rapids Families Trust

Kaela joined the CRSC team in May 2024. She attended Hawkeye Community College, where she received an AS and AAS degree in dental hygiene. Her work experience ranges from nannying throughout her college years to waitressing and bartending for over seven years. Kaela grew up with two younger siblings, Kylie and Lukas, and has three dogs named Murphy, Mavey, and Monroe. In her free time, she loves spending time with her friends, family, and dogs, heading out to the lake, or finding a good book to read.

Andrea joined CRSC in July 2016. She graduated from Kirkwood Community College in 2015 with an associate of applied science degree in dental hygiene and has been proudly practicing in the Cedar Rapids area ever since. Andrea has two daughters who keep her very busy — she enjoys attending their dance events, performances, and competitions. They have two dogs, Buddy (an Aussiedoodle) and Rudy (a Poogle). Andrea loves getting together with family for bonfires and cookouts, and she also enjoys cooking and baking.

Deb received her bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from the University of Iowa and has over 40 years of experience as a dental hygienist in clinical and public health settings. She served as president of the Dental Hygienists Association and served on the Iowa Dental Board for nine years. Deb is currently the business manager at Cedar Rapids Smile Center. She and her husband, Dr. Dennis Yossi, have two grown children, Megan and Chris.

Kristi has an AAS degree from Kirkwood Community College. She has been a dental hygienist since 2009 and joined Cedar Rapids Smile Center in March 2010. She loves making patients smile! Kristi has three children: Ethan, Kora, and Kyson. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and taking her kids to fun places. She loves traveling, especially weekend trips in the family camper to Prairie du Chien. Other hobbies include swimming, art, boat rides, and waterskiing. She is also a proud fan of flamingos.

Bailey graduated in 2020 from Carl Sandburg College with an associate of applied science degree in dental hygiene and joined Cedar Rapids Smile Center in September 2020. She is passionate about her career and loves making a difference in her patients' lives. Bailey lives in Marion, IA with her boyfriend, Carter, who serves on the Marion Fire Department. She enjoys spending time with family and friends in her hometown of Davenport, IA.

Chloe graduated from Kirkwood Community College in 2021 with an associate of applied science degree in dental hygiene. She is originally from Illinois and moved to Cedar Rapids in 2018 for school. She and her boyfriend have a miniature lop bunny named Max. Chloe spends her time reading, watching movies, or hanging out with family and friends. In her own words: "I love getting to know my patients and creating a personal connection with them."

Dana began her dental career at Kirkwood in 1991 with dental assisting, then went back to school for hygiene and graduated in 1997 from Hawkeye Community College. In her 30-year dental career, she has seen a lot of changes and continues to grow alongside them. She enjoys building relationships with her patients and says she has "the best patients!" At home, Dana has two grown boys and one bossy cat. She loves kayaking, biking, and is always looking forward to her next vacation adventure.

Leigha joined CRSC in June 2023 after graduating from Hawkeye Community College with her associate degree in dental hygiene. She is thrilled to be working with our patients every day. Leigha has four younger siblings back home who keep her busy. She lives in Hiawatha with her yellow lab, Thor, and in her free time enjoys reading and spending time at her family's cabin on Lake Delhi.

Caitlin joined CRSC in March 2016, bringing six years of administrative experience with her. She is a current Notary Public. Caitlin and her husband, Taylor, have two children that keep them busy, plus a cat named Tuna. In her free time, you might find her reading, tending to her many houseplants, spending time with family and friends, enjoying the outdoors, or watching Hawkeye sports.

Angie has been with CRSC since October 2010. She started her dental career in 1992 as a dental assistant and later became certified in expanded functions. She has been focusing mainly on insurance support at CRSC since 2010 and is a current Notary Public. Angie attended Hawkeye Community College for respiratory therapy. In her free time, she enjoys muscle cars, motorcycling, cooking, writing poems, and spending time with family, especially her son, Jacob.

Corinne joined Cedar Rapids Smile Center in December 2016 and has been in the customer service industry professionally since 2006. She enjoys reading, camping, and going on adventures with her family. She is married to Brandon, and they have two daughters, Lucy and Eloise.

Katie joined the CRSC team in August 2019. She graduated from Benedictine College in 2015 with a degree in art and worked as a dental technician before joining the Smile Center. She enjoys crafting, bike riding, reading, and watching Korean dramas. You will usually find her spending time with her three cats, Jack, Faye, and Nugget, or hanging out at Iowa Farm Sanctuary with all the animals.

Tyler joined CRSC in June 2023. Before joining our team, most of her working career was spent in teaching and childcare. She has four children, two boys and two girls, as well as a French bulldog/Boston terrier mix. In her free time, she loves to read, be outdoors, spend time with her children, and watch them play sports. Go Hawks!

Addie joined Cedar Rapids Smile Center in September 2025. She attended Cornell College for Economics, Business, and Studio Art, and her background includes working on the Media Team for the Cedar Rapids Kernels and doing marketing for Hawthorn Wellness Clinic. You will find her spending a lot of time with her boyfriend Cody and her puppy Lacey. In her free time, she enjoys pickleball, sand volleyball, golf, crafting, and Pilates. A fun fact about Addie: there is a movie named after her, The Age of Adeline Bowman.

Trish previously worked at CRSC for 20 years starting in 1988 and is now back working two mornings a week, enjoying the chance to reconnect with patients she knew from years ago. She has a little dog named Mila who takes up a lot of her time. Trish enjoys walking, biking, and gardening, and her favorite thing to do is spend time with her children, grandchildren, extended family, and friends. In her free time, she volunteers at her church and St. Vincent DePaul.
