Digital X-rays

Digital X-rays use an electronic digital sensor to capture images. Your x-rays are then available for immediate viewing on a computer.

Capturing x-rays is considered to be a safe procedure and no longer require the use of lead aprons. According to the American Dental Association (ADA), “Radiation exposure associated with dental imaging represents a minor contribution to the total exposure from all sources, including natural and man-made.”
