Tooth Colored (White) Fillings
We use a composite resin to make beautiful tooth colored (white) fillings as an alternative to silver (mercury/amalgam) fillings. The advantages of composite fillings over silver are many. Composite fillings are more conservative and they take away less actual tooth structure to place the filling. They are also directly bonded to the tooth, unlike the silver that can contract and expand with temperature changes.
The back two teeth in the photos above used to be filled with dark silver fillings. We replaced them with these beautiful bonded restorations.
