Meet Our Assistants
Amy
Amy has a dental assisting degree from Kirkwood Community College and also an Advanced Business Degree from Kirkwood. She has been working as a dental assistant for four years and has been with Dr. Yossi for three years.
Amy is married and has two children. Her daughter McKenzie attends Kennedy High School and is involved in dance and soccer. Her son Carter is in soccer and band. Amy's hobbies including reading, shopping, attending her kids' activites. They have three dogs; one Chocolate Lab and two Shihtzu/Bishons.
Jill, Clinical Coordinator
Jill has been a dental assistant with Dr. Yossi for over 20 years. She is a Cedar Rapids Washington High School graduate and received her CDA, RDA, and EFDA from Kirkwood Community College.
Jill has been married to her husband Steve for 20 years. They have two cats. She enjoys gardening, reading, traveling and Harley riding (on the back behind her husband).
Megan
Megan has a dental assisting degree from Kirkwood Community College. She has four years of experience and has worked for Dr. Yossi for three years.
Megan enjoys shopping, going out with friends, skiing in the winter and riding her new Harley in the summer! Megan enjoys spending time with her family, mom-Kathy, dad-Bob, older sister, Molly, who teaches 5th grade in Maquoketa and younger sister, Jamie, who is going to Kirkwood for Graphic Design.
Nicole
Nicole received her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Assisting at Kirkwood Community College and has eight years of experience in the dental field. Nicole has worked part-time for Cedar Rapids Smile Center since Spring 2009. You may also recognize her smiling face from Parks & Schmit Orthodontics.
Nicole enjoys wakeboarding, skiing, and riding Harleys (on the back for now!). Nicole has two younger sisters. Her sister Lisa is graduated from the University of Iowa in 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education. Her youngest sister Kristin graduated from high school in May 2010 and plans to join the army reserves and study dental hygiene.
Sharon
Sharon has been with CR Smile Center for over two years. She received her dental assisting training from Northeast Iowa Community College at Peosta and has 13 years of experience in the dental field. She enjoys reading, scuba diving, and traveling.
Lindsey
Lindsey graduated from the dental assisting program at Kirkwood, and has been employed at Cedar Rapids Smile Center for over a year. She enjoys boating, reading, and watching movies. She also enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She has an older brother, Joel, and a younger sister, Katie.
Jennifer, Dental Assistant
Jennifer joined our office in June 2011. She has a dental assisting degree from Kirkwood Community College and has 3 years of experience. Jennifer works primarily as a dental assistant but you will also see her smiling face in the front office.
Jennifer enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her dog, Lucy. She also likes watching movies, NASCAR, and the outdoors.
