Meet Our Hygienists
Alice
Alice has worked for Dr. Yossi for 17 years. She received her Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Iowa and has over 30 years of experience.
Alice enjoys reading, needlework, gardening, and her grandchildren. She and her husband Mike have a son, Nick, and a daughter, Lizzy. They have five grandchildren: Riley, Lily, Ellie, Nemo, and baby Charlotte.
Heather
Heather has been with the Cedar Rapids Smile Center for two years. She attended Cornell College for Education and Kirkwood Community College for Dental Hygiene. She has been a registered dental hygienist for two years and a chair side assistant for seven years.
Heather loves going to Iowa football games and spending time with family. She has lived in Cedar Rapids for 10 years. Heather's and her husband Dave recently became parents of baby Elise, born September 2010.
Donna Jo
Donna Jo attended Hawkeye Community College and has 30 years of dental experience. She was a chair side assistant for 19 years and has been in hygiene since 1999.
Donna Jo enjoys music, loves being outdoors, fishing, canoeing, cross country skiing, and spending time at her cabin on the Wapsi. Donna Jo and her husband Bill have been married 28 years. They have two children; 22 year old daughter who is studying Elementary Education at UNI, and a 21 year old son who is a Biology major at Simpson College.
Ellen
Ellen attended the University of Iowa and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene. She has over 30 years of experience, the last 20 of which she has worked with Dr. Kent Willer and most recently Cedar Rapids Smile Center.
Ellen enjoys gardening, cooking, reading, golfing, spending time with family and spoiling her granddaughter Bella. Ellen and her husband Dwight have been married for 32 years. They have three children, two sons, Zach and Sam, one daughter, Amy, and one granddaughter Isabella.
Michelle
Michelle received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Iowa in 1976. She worked for Dr. Kent Willer for 32 years and has been with Cedar Rapids Smile Center for the last two years.
Michelle enjoys flower gardening, antiquing, boating, fishing, going to her cabin, and riding ATVs. She and her husband Kyle have two children; Ashley and Josh. They have two Yorkie dogs, Brody and Charlie.
Over the years her patients have become family. She not only cares about their dental care but also cares about them! She is proud of the dental care we have provided them and I'm even more excited about the future dental care we will be able to provide.
Kristi
Kristi attended Kirkwood Community College and had clinical experience at the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. She has been at the Cedar Rapids Smile Center since October 2010 and has two years of hygiene experience.
Kristi and her husband Kyle were recently married in June 2011. They have a son, Ethan and a Rottweiler named Axel. Kristi enjoys waterskiing, snowmobiling, boating, camping, spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, art, home improvement projects and playing cards.
